When we brought Brody home from the hospital, the fun started! Luckily, Gram stayed a few days to help out, and then Grandma and Papa (Jay's parents) came for a while. Brody had a little jaundice, so we had to put him under some bright lights for a few days. It was horrible because we couldn't hold him all day and we were worried about him, but he loved the warm lights that vibrated and made noise, so he didn't complain to much. We did have to feed him every 2 hours during the day at every 3 hours at night. The first week was long, and we were tired, but we loved just looking at and holding our sweet little boy.

Jay gave Brody his first bath in the sink

Gram is giving Brody a bottle - we had to supplement with formula for a few days while the jaudice was resolving, then he went back to breast milk only

He did look a little yellow, but was otherwise healthy and perfect

Grandma and Papa came to help out and see Brody - this is his first outing. We walked around downtown Homewood, got cake bites, and a drink at Jackson's Brewery

Jay had to work the 1st week, but took off the 2nd week. This is after he got home. Christie, Kim and Ruth sent this goodie basket with the bear and blanket.
