The 1st 6 weeks have been great - everyone says how hard it is, and it is hard at times, but Jay and I have loved it. Jay is the greatest dad, and we have so much fun with Brody. He is a good baby, and we take him out to dinner a lot. He just sleeps or looks around and checks things out.
He loves his pacifier! He also loves to be jiggled or bounced. We swaddle him up at night, and he fights it, but then loves it, especially if he has his "paci".
Here are a few pics from the 1st 6 weeks and our adventures.

Cooking out with Grandma and Papa

Aunt Christie came to visit from California, and Grandma and Papa came up a few days while she was here. The Arkansas vs Alabama game was this weekend, so it was the big event for the day. We had a fun time, but Arkansas lost!

Brody likes to study with Daddy on the couch

Brody started smiling some about 6 weeks, and he smiled for Aunt Christie

He loves the Boppy pillow

We took Brody to Wynne to visit Gram and Pop and some more family - inluding his great-grandparents - Mema and Papaw. I don't have a picture with Tom and Austin, but he was so happy to meet his cousins!

Ginger and Brody - we got to see all the McFaddens and MarMar and Uncle George

Memaw was happy to meet Brody

Jay was studying and making sure Brody didn't lose his paci

Mommy and Brody

We took Brody to the top of the Vulcan statue overlooking Birmingham. Jay and I were so scared to be out on the ledge that you could see through! Brody didn't mind though
