Brody Thomas - 2 months old!

Brody is 2 months old today! He went to the doctor today - he is 10 lbs 8 oz and 22 and 1/4 inches tall. He is growing very well - he is in the 60th percentile for head circumference and height, and the 35 to 40th for weight, but he is catching up on weight since he was so small when he was born.

He also got his shots, which of course he didn't like. He is sleeping now, so we'll see how he does later tonight after that.

These are the things he likes and can do at 2 months old:

• He can roll from his belly to his back! A big accomplishment for only 2 months! He does it because he gets so mad though, and is very strong, so it just happens.
• He smiles a lot at his mom and dad and is starting to "talk" to us some. He is very interested in watching you talk to him and tries so hard to talk back.
• He loves to go out to eat, or really anywhere - he likes to check out the people, lights, and all the action going on around him.
• He likes to play in his baby gym - he looks at all the toys and the mirror, and can grab onto them when they get in the way of his hands. He also likes the Bobby pillow and his monkey chair.
• He sleeps about 6 hours at a time at night, sometimes 7 or 8, and then will go back to sleep a few more after he eats. He still likes to be swaddled at night, too.
• Loves, loves, loves the paci!
• He loves to cuddle with his mom and dad, which is awesome!
  
  

We are waiting to see the doctor - he was so good the whole time except when he got the shots and when the doctor looked in his ears.

This is why we call him superman now - this is not an action photo, but he is flexing his body so tight that he stays in the air like this - it really is impressive. He was suprised by it at first, but now when Jay does it, he loves it.
