Brody the Big Brother!

Big news...we are having another baby in April!!! Brody will be a great big brother!! Jay and I are both very excited! It will be different, but a new experience that we are welcoming!

Our sweet baby boy!! He is just so much fun - full of personality and energy! We are excited to be able to give him a brother or sister to play with!

Grandma and Papa came to visit this weekend and keep Brody while we went to the OB Dr. appt

Brody got to play outside almost all day long...which is one of his favorite things to do!

Jay and I got to go on a date to celebrate our good news this weekend!

Kara and her girls came over to play this evening. It is always so nice to get together because the kids play so well together and we get some nice adult time!

Just to back up a little bit...we have been keeping busy during the week lately. Brody and I meet Kara for lunch about once a week. I also joined the Conway MOPS group, where I have met several girls and babies. We also found the storytime at the library, which is a lot of singing and dancing, so Brody loves it! Last week, there was a parade downtown for the fair, so we joined Kara and her girls, along with some of their friends. The kids really had a good time, and it was a pretty good parade!

In other news...I haven't found my camera. I ordered another one today, so better pictures to come soon!

Lost camera...

I somehow lost my camera (or Brody hid it, who knows!) but I am going to give it another week before I buy another one just in case I find it. I did borrow Jay's the past couple of days...

We went to the firestation on Friday with a playgroup. It was lots of fun for the kids - it was hard to keep up with Brody and get good pictures though!

Later that day, we had a snack outside and played in the rain.

Saturday was Jay's first day off in almost 20 days, so we finally had a day to hang out with him! Brody even took a nap with Daddy!

Later, we bought some sand for Brody's new sandbox that Grandma and Papa got him - he loved it! We are going to spend lots of time out there!



Fun weekend!

Getting settled in...

Jay has been back to work for almost 2 weeks now, so Brody and I have been hanging out and playing. He had his 1 year appointment this week, and things are going well. He is in the 8th percentile for ht and 33rd for weight! Hopefully he'll get taller!

I am trying to let him start using a spoon some...

but he isn't too great at it yet! We will keep trying though!

We took Brody to the UCA game last week and he really enjoyed it.



Yes - he still gets 2 bottles a day! He will only drink water out of the sippy cup - no milk! I do have to take this away soon though! We love holding him while he eats though (when he lets us)!

My friend Carrie and her husband Chris and daughter Clara came to visit last weekend - we are excited to live close again!



Tom and Aunt Libby spent the night with us on Sunday, and we went to Fugi Steakhouse. This is Tom's favorite place to eat, so we took him there as a late birthday present!

Brody enjoyed it too!
