Brody Thomas - 8 months old!!

Brody is almost 8 months old! Here are a few things he is up to:

Weighs about 18 lbs

Goes to bed at 7:30 or 8 and sleeps until 7 - he sometimes wakes up and talks to himself before 7, but that is when we get him up. He usually naps 2 or 3 times a day.

He has been weaned to the bottle and drinks 4 6-oz bottles a day

Eats bananas and cereal for breakfast, a veggie for lunch (squash, carrots, etc), and a veggie and fruit for dinner (peas, green beans, apples)

He loves finger foods that he can eat himself

Started standing up on all fours last weekend; he can crawl a couple of steps, then scoot some and usually get where he wants - especially if it is the computer cord or the XBox

He loves giving his Mom and Dad lots of wet kisses - so precious!

Throws his head back to hang upside down, which he loves and just laughs when he does it

Babbles a lot, and some time "whispers" to us!

Started standing up in his bed! We lowered the matress, but he still loves to stand up and look around. When he first figured out how to do it, he wouldn't nap because it was just too much fun to do his new trick. He is napping better now! He also has a couple of bruises from hitting his head on the bed too - crazy boy!
