Brody is now 4 months old!! Jay and I just love him so much, and we both love spending time with him. He can recognize us and smiles at us all the time - he is such a great baby. When he wakes up from his naps, he is just so happy to see us. Just so we can always remember, here are a few things he is up to now:
- He sleeps from about 9:30 or 10pm to about 7am, and takes 3-4 naps a day
- Eats 5-6 times a day, for about 20 minutes each
- He has found his hands!! He loves his toys, and of course putting them in his mouth
- Still loves the pacifier!
- Loves to sit up like a big boy so he can see everything - he can sit up by himself for a few seconds before he topples over!
- Likes going out to do errands or go to restaurants because there are so many things to see - no more sleeping through dinners out, but he is usually good
He is getting ready for his first Christmas too!!
Wednesday night, Brody and I went to dinner with Andrea and Cara while the boys were at journal club - I'm pretty sure we had a better time than the boys!
Saturday evening, our great friends from Erie, Josh and Fran Tuck, came to visit. They were driving to Pensacola, FL for Josh's peds rotation, so they stopped in Birmingham and stayed the night with us. We had BBQ and pecan pie for dinner - a good Southern meal! We had a great time with them and appreciate them coming to see us!
