Howell Family Reunion 2011

We have had a LOT going on in the past month, so I am little behind on the blogging! I'll get caught up in the next week or so! The 3rd weekend in July was the Howell Family Reunion in south Arkansas. I don't even have a picture of everyone there, but I'll try to add it later. We had a great time seeing family - especially those California girls!

Brody loved "driving" between the different cabins

So tired after playing ALL day long! Relaxing with Grandma and Papa

The fishing crew - Christie and the girls from California - Sarah, Ruth, and Kim. They fished with Papa Tenny all day long! We had a great time and look forward to next year!

Brody is walking!

A couple weeks ago, Brody started taking steps now and then, but now he is walking! He is 10 and 1/2 months old - good job sweet baby! He still falls down, but he can go across the room or to a different room and back. He is very proud of himself! I tried to get a few action shots, but that is pretty difficult...

Yes, I am a hoarder...of paci's! This is how we found him when he woke up from a nap!

Cheese!

I just love this picture of Gram and Brody! This was when we dropped him off on our way to the float trip - my parents kept him some and Jay's parents kept him some - thanks!

You can see his wound on his head from pulling the lamp on himself last week

It is getting better now - Brody loves to be pushed around in the laundry basket!

Playing outside in the rain with Daddy

We have lots of boxes around here to play in - Brody is such a big help packing!

Last night, we went to the Fellow Graduation dinner - it was very nice

Hannah and Jay, Andrea and Brad, Marshall and Cara - we will miss you guys so much!

Float Trip 2011

True friends stand the test of time! Four of my best friends ever - Kara, Tracy, Leslie, and Melanie - are from high school. They started going on an annual float trip every year, and this was the first year Jay and I lived close enough to join them. We had a great time and can't wait to go again next year! We missed Melanie and J though - hopefully we can all make it next time!

Hannah, Kara, Tracy and Leslie - we had such a great time together! We talked about how much fun we had playing basketball, and finally admitted how bad we really were at it!

Getting breakfast before the big float

Hot tub fun! Thanks for the great pictures Kara!

Jonathan about to jump off the rope swing! No way I would have done that!

After the trip Jay borrowed my t-shirt - looks pretty great!

4th of July weekend 2011

We had an exciting 4th of July week! No lake or beach, but we still had fun! Last week, Brody and I drove to Wynne to visit for a couple days. Here is Brody with his 2 sweet cousins Tom and Austin!

Pop is supervising the fun

Brody loved pushing this tricycle around!

I love watching my cousin Tom - I'll take whatever food you are eating!

Uncle Matt is pretty fun too!

Brody was so tired when we got back that he fell asleep on his Daddy while reading a book! He used to fall asleep on us all the time, so Jay LOVED it when he did it again now that he is so big! So sweet!

We went out to lunch on Saturday and then to the park to play

We also had fun playing in the "backyard pool" this weekend!

We went to the pool on Sunday and then had our friends over to cook out that night

Abigail and Brody enjoying the pool

Jay, Marshall and Brad - notice Marshall's shirt!

Just playing...

Cara and Brody hanging out, eating watermelon

So this brings us to the actual 4th of July...our air conditioner broke, so it was HOT! It didn't get fixed until the next day, so we had to think of things to do that would keep us cool...we did some shopping and playing in the rain (which was very lucky for us)!

Brody loves riding in the stroller!

Crawling around the store

When it rained Monday afternoon, it was much cooler outside, so we let Brody play in the rain and he had so much fun!

There is an actual cricket in his hand!

Want some cheerios Daddy?

We went to the zoo on Tuesday with some friends. We saw the animals and played in the water!

What a fun 4th of July week!
