4th of July weekend 2011

We had an exciting 4th of July week! No lake or beach, but we still had fun! Last week, Brody and I drove to Wynne to visit for a couple days. Here is Brody with his 2 sweet cousins Tom and Austin!

Brody was so tired when we got back that he fell asleep on his Daddy while reading a book! He used to fall asleep on us all the time, so Jay LOVED it when he did it again now that he is so big! So sweet!

We went out to lunch on Saturday and then to the park to play







We also had fun playing in the "backyard pool" this weekend!

We went to the pool on Sunday and then had our friends over to cook out that night

So this brings us to the actual 4th of July...our air conditioner broke, so it was HOT! It didn't get fixed until the next day, so we had to think of things to do that would keep us cool...we did some shopping and playing in the rain (which was very lucky for us)!

When it rained Monday afternoon, it was much cooler outside, so we let Brody play in the rain and he had so much fun!

We went to the zoo on Tuesday with some friends. We saw the animals and played in the water!
