Emery turned 2 on April 13th! (I know - a little behind, but I am going to start back with their birthdays!) We had an Easter egg hunt with just a few friends during the week, and then a small family party on her birthday with dinner and cake. It has been a while, but here are a few things she has been up to:
-She started climbing out of her bed before she was 2, so she is in a big girl bed now. We are in the process of redoing the upstairs so Brody and Emery can both have new rooms up there.
-She is so spunky!! She has very extreme emotions, (guess that is the girl part?!) - she can throw the biggest fit you have ever seen, but she is also the most lovable little thing ever - she tells me she loves me all of the time and gives great hugs and kisses!
-Talking like crazy and trying to do everything Brody does! He is her favorite person in the world! (Except maybe Momma!!)
-Emery loves her baby dolls, and taking care of them - changing diapers, feeding them, etc. She also loves to cook in her play kitchen, drive her pink car (she has gotten pretty good too), play in the sandbox, play superheroes with Brody, and loves to play with trucks, diggers, and tractors - I guess that is what happens with an older brother!
-LOVES to swim! Emery has become such a fish! They both love to go to the lake and the pool!
Anyway, we love this sweet little girl more than ever and I am so lucky to get to stay home with both of them. Days can get long, but they are such a blessing! I am going to miss this stage so much! Here are some pictures from her birthday parties!
