Road trip to Erie, PA

We recently took a long road trip all the way to Erie, PA! It was a total of 16 hours of driving each way, but we made lots of stops along the way. Brody did really well in the car, and we had a great time - we were sooooo ready to get home though!

We stopped at Pop and Gram's on the way to borrow their Suburban, which made the trip a lot nicer! Uncle Matt drove all 3 boys on the 4-wheeler around the farm.

We stayed at ML and Fred's house most of the time in Erie, and with Mike and Elena one night. We had a great time seeing friends, but I didn't even take pictures! I do have some of Brody playing though...the weather was amazing! We had a great time playing outside at ML and Fred's.

We went to Hamot one day to see everyone, and I did get to eat lunch with the girls from Hamot! Jay got to see all the residents, and we even made it to a softball game for our old team.

We stopped in Nashville on the way home so Jay could go to a course for 2 days.

Brody's 1st birthday! We were still in Nashville for his birthday, so we celebrated some, and are having a party this weekend for him. I will do a 1-year update soon!

We even got to see what it would be like to do surgery on broken bones! This was a pretty neat exhibit, so Jay would be proud that Brody is learning about it so early!

We met Brad and Tye (one of Jay's friends from college) for dinner, and I brought cupcakes to celebrate Brody's bday!

He had fun and of course loved the cupcake...more cake to come this week!

The next day we went shopping and played at the mall while Jay finished up his class, and then headed home. We had a great time visiting with great friends!
