Saturday after the funeral we drove back to Birmingham, along with Matt and Libby, because we had already planned to do the Mercedes Marathon Relay on Sunday. Libby recently started running, so when a spot opened, she agreed to run a 5K for the relay - and did great! Jay and I ran 8 miles each, and Matt kept Brody. Dr. Bonatz organized 3 relay teams, and we all had matching green and black hats. The race was a lot of fun, and we had a great time visiting with Matt and Libby.

Right after the race I got to see sweet Brody! Dr. Bonatz, Jay and I all ranthe last legs of our teams - Jay was on the fast team, so his team finished before ours!

We went out for a steak dinner on Sunday night and then Matt and Libby left early on Monday morning to make it for Tom's Valentines Day party - we had such a great time!
