Emery James - 8 months!

Before I update about all the Holiday happenings, I wanted to remember a few things about Emery at 8 months old:

-A mover - crawls everywhere, and pulls up on everything! Always wants to be where the action is - usually where Brody is!
-She is about 19 pounds, which is about a pound heavier than Brody at this age!  She is so chunky and I love squeezing those big legs! She is a great eater and doesn't really ever say no to anything!  She is starting to eat more chunky food and table food.  Loves avacodos, bananas, sweet potatos, applesauce, yogurt and graham crackers...just to mention a few!
-SO LOVABLE!  I love this stage so much!  Emery will crawl up in your lap and put her head on you - I love it so much!  She also puts her head on me when people talk to her, like she is being shy - so cute!
-She went swimming for the first time last week - didn't love it, but didn't hate it!  She just wanted to lay her head on me the whole time, so I think she was just tired!  We will try it again soon.
We love you so much Emery!  You are so much fun right now, and a happy baby!!  

Thanksgiving 2012

On Thanksgiving, we headed to Wynne to enjoy some relaxing time with lots of food and family.  We had lots of fun playing with Tom and Austin, Matt and Libby, and Pop and Gram!

The Saturday after Thanksgiving, we celebrated with Jay's family in Conway at Papa and Grandma's new house

Brody's lawn care service and Emery turns 7 months

Brody is completely obsessed with lawn care - mowing, weed eating, and blowing! He does it all day, inside and outside, and talks about it non-stop! He has quite the imagination, too. Here are a few pics from his lawn care service...

Sometimes he wears his "cowboy hat" because that is what Papa and Mr. Steve wear when they mow...

Emery is 7 months old now! She is a much happier baby!  She doesn't like it when her Mama leaves the room or leaves her at all!   She weighs about 17 pounds and is sleeping about 11 or 11.5 hours at night, with 2 to 3 naps. She eats fruit, veggies, cereal and yogurt, and loves snacks, especially MumMums and graham crackers! She can scoot across the room, but not officially crawl - soon!

So happy!!!

Saturday night, we took Brody to the UCA game, and got to meet Bruce D. Bear!  Like Santa, he wouldn't get his picture taken with him!
